• 16 years old and above
• At least GCE “O” level or GCE “N” level or equivalent

• Anatomy and Physiology
• Study of skin diagnosis, full facial & body treatment for specific skin types, handle adverse reaction from customer, identify contra-indication to facial, student will be competent in aspects of skin care and facial massage, eye treatment, after treatment follow-up
• Use of electrical appliances, safety precautions and contraindication
• Makeup techniques, corrective makeup, makeup for special occasion
• Manicure and pedicure, waxing, bleaching, bust treatments
• Professional conduct: first aid ,salon safety, hygiene and sterilization, client handling and keep accurate client records, contraindications to treatment, relevant laws to advertising
• Business awareness: Types of business, salon safety, workplace regulations, use of work equipment regulations, reporting of Injuries, supply of goods and services act, consumer protection act, licensing laws with establishing a business, plan of treatment room, maintaining of good stock control system, cost management to treatment, Treatment plan.
• Case study

The structure and function of cells and the following systems, cover the structure and function of each organ and recognize the cause and effect of the diseases and disorder, skeletal system, muscular system, vascular system, lymphatic system, neurology system, endocrine system, respiratory system, digestive system, genitourinary system, reproduction system and skin.

100hrs

There will be a total of 5 clients for the case study. 4 treatments will be administered on each client, with the full consultation process, use of massage technique, aftercare and home advice to be demonstrated for each of these treatments
