ceo - Mr. Lee Tong Tai

• Mr. Lee started his career with the Singapore Armed Forces and held several key appointments in the staff and operations capacities. He also attended the Portsea Officer Cadet School in Australia. He was appointed the Chief Engineer Officer at the apex of his exemplary Singapore Armed Forces career.
With his outstanding leadership in command and control, he was also tasked as the Chairman of the National Day Parade in 1996 where he received a PPA (Pingat Pentadbiran Awam) - Bronze medal from the President of Singapore. Since then, he had successfully executed various national events with outstanding achievements and high commendation. He received numerous commendations from many foreign ambassadors.

• Mr. Lee is the custodian and visionary leader for Sensori Holding, and its strategic business units. He holds an executive role in the business expansion activities of the company, along with extensive merger & acquisition programmes, so as to steer Sensori towards the development of strategic alliances with our key business partners and distributors.

• Mr. Lee is currently the Chairman of Bizpoint International Pte Ltd where he initiated and promoted Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to many small medium enterprises. Under his directorship, the company is rapidly expanding its operation to many parts of China and countries in South East Asia.

• Mr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor in Commerce majoring in Business Administration, Banking and Finance and attended various senior executive programmes such as the Stanford-NUS Executive Programme.

Director – Mr. Christopher Tay

• Mr. Christopher Tay is currently the Project Consultant to NTUC Income for Group Health insurance and ST Electronics-ISS for eSCM and eHealth. He possesses valuable business experiences that are strategic and important to the overall development of Sensori Holding and its related businesses. He is one of the co-founders of the group.

• His previous corporate experiences include, Asst Director, Corporate Development & Services (Sembcorp Venture), General Manager, Bintan Resort Ferries, General Manager/Director, BRF Holidays, Chief Operations Officer, Tan Tock Seng Hospital; Chief Executive Officer, NTUC Healthcare Cooperative Limited and Deputy Group CEO of Richland Group Pte Ltd.

• Mr. Tay holds various key appointment ( past and present ) in many organizations: Councillor of Punggol-Pasir Ris GRC Town Council and Vice-Chairman of Finance Committee, Punggol-Pasir-Ris GRC Town Council, Business Adviser of CTC Healthcare Travel (Medical Tourism), Board member of the Centre for Seniors (NTUC), Director of YES Holding, (Industrial Park venture in Yichun/Jiangxi Province, Member of Institute of Mental Health Medifund Committee, Chairman of Citizens Consultative Committee ( Punggol-South CCC ), Member of School Advisory Board of Hougang Primary School, Member of the North Vista Primary School Advisory Council, Chairman of Education & Welfare Committee, Board member of NTUC Eldercare Cooperative Limited. He also conducts ad-hoc teaching in Nanyang Business School for modules in Hospital Management.

• Due to his outstanding performance during SARS as Chief Operations Officer of Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he was awarded the National Day Award, Pingat Kepujian (Commendation Medal), and the Courage Medal, Singapore Courage Fund for SARS.

• Mr. Tay graduated with a Bachelor Science (Econs) Honours from University of London and has an MBA (Hospitality & Tourism management) from Nanyang Business School, NTU. Mr Tay is also a Chartered Marketer with the CIMUK and holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from Associations of Business Executives (United Kingdom) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Marketing Institute of United Kingdom.


MAVIS GOH, Consultant/Chief TRainer

Mavis Goh, principal founder and Chief Trainer and a Director of Spatec was instrumental in the overall establishment, development and management of the school. Ms. Goh holds the approved Lecturer and Principal status with ITEC (UK) and IFA (UK). She is also a certified NSRS assessor and NSRS Supervisor assessor
Trained in spa, wellness and beauty, Ms Goh is accredited with over 25 years of experience in the spa, hospitality and travel industries. As the Principal and Chief trainer of Spatec, Mavis oversees the development of course curriculum, the pedagogy of spa education and training including supervisory-level training, quality assurance and quality control.

Ms Goh is a talented spa and aesthetics professional who receives training from many international institutions. She is qualified through ITEC (UK) in a wide spectrum of skills in Aromatherapy, Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, Spa Treatments and Spa Management, Stress Management, Lymphatic Drainage as well as Indian Head and Ayurvedic Massage.

Mavis has been trained from various institutions from different countries, and also holds a Certificate in Foot Reflexology from ROW-SHR Health Institute International, a Certificate in Instructor Training for Introductory Lectures of Foot Reflexology from Taiwan, a Certificate in Thai Traditional Massage from the Wat Po Traditional Medical School in Bangkok, a Certificate in Traditional Chinese Therapy from China and is a Master in Iridology from the University of Health Science, in Hawaii, USA. She is also equipped with a diploma in business management from SIM (Singapore), and has the relevant pedagogy skills sets in the areas of test construction, coaching skills and in planning and implementing on-the-job training (OJT). In addition, Mavis also owns a licensed tourist guide certificate with the Singapore Tourism Board, and holds a diploma in Hairdressing and a diploma in Beauty Aesthetics.


Dr. Jonathan Robbins PhD FRSA FRPS FCIEA MIoD, Prinicpal

Dr. Robbins brings an international reputation for innovative work in the field of educational assessment and quality assurance to his work at the Spatec Academy. His research interests include the assessment of performance, applications of connoisseurship in education and the professional development of teachers. An experienced businessman and company director, Jonathan is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors, the British Educational Research Association, and the International Association for Educational Assessment. His background in both the commercial world and education provides him with the specialised knowledge that is enabling the Spatec Academy to become a world-class training provider in the Spa and Wellness industry.

 

 

Dr. Yu Chi Chen, Consultant

Graduated from University of Shizuoka (Japan), awarded the Ph.D. Degree of Food and Nutritional Sciences, University of Shizuoka (Japan).

Graduated from Da-Yeh University, awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Food Engineering.

Dr. Chen worked as Chemosynthesis Engineer in Department of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Everlight Chemical Industrial Corporation in Taiwan.

Dr. Chen worked as Teaching Assistant, Laboratory of applied microbiology, University of Shizuoka, under the direction of Prof. A. Hirota (Japan). Dr. Chen also experienced in Postdoctoral Research in Division of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Research, National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan.
Currently, Dr.Chen is Vice-Chairman of the Department of Cosmetic Science and working as Assistant Professor at Vanung University (Department of Cosmetic Science)

Dr. Chen is membership of Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.

Dr. Chen was awarded Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students (Presented by the Ministry of Education, Japan), and awarded Scholarship for international students, presented by the Nakajima Foundation (Japan )

Dr JANET LEE, Consultant

Dr Janet Lee serves Spatec as its consultant in the areas of aesthetic medicine and weight management. She is a Medical Director of Temasek Medical Centre and runs a successful chain of family medicine clinics in Singapore. Dr Lee also holds a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (USA) and is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

LYDIA EE,

Lydia, Senior Trainer and Lecturer under ITEC (UK) and IFA (UK) is also a NSRS approved Lecturer, Trainer, Assessor and Supervisor Assessor. She is qualified to train in a wide spectrum of massage and aesthetic therapies including Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
Lydia’s domain lies in the area of pedagogy, developing curriculum and teaching of Anatomy and Physiology. She is also a registered full member of IFA and a member of the Joanna Hoare Institute of Aromatherapy.


Lim Chou Tee Esther

Has more than 10 years of teaching experience in Aesthetics, Beauty Technique and Aromatherapy. She is certified through ITEC (UK) in Reflexology, Anatomy, Physiology & Massage, Aromatherapy, Stress Management, Lymphatic Drainage, Indian Head Massage, Sports Massage and Spa Training & Spa Management. She is certified through NSRS in Manicure & Pedicure and Post Natal Massage. In addition, she has also completed the course in Hot Stone Massage Therapy.


Ang Choy Yoong, Eric

Has more than 20 years of working experience in the industry, including 10 years teaching different massage and reflexology techniques. He has experience as a Supervising Assessor and is certified under NSRS in Full Body massage with and without Oil, Foot Reflexology, Upper Body Massage with and without oil, and Hand Reflexology. He is also certified under ITEC (UK) in Aromatherapy and Holistic Massage and has certificate in Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, and Thai Traditional Massage.

Shuem Seet Mooi, Jenny

Has more than 20 years of working experience in the industry, including 10 years teaching different massage and reflexology techniques. He has experience as a Supervising Assessor and is certified under NSRS in Full Body massage with and without Oil, Foot Reflexology, Upper Body Massage with and without oil, and Hand Reflexology. He is also certified under ITEC (UK) in Aromatherapy and Holistic Massage and has certificate in Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, and Thai Traditional Massage.

Lee Kim Choon, Ringo

Conducts training for ITEC (UK) and IFA (UK) courses in Reflexology, Holistic Massage, Swedish and Indian Head Massage; he is also qualified to conduct training in Stress Management, Spa Training and Spa Management and assists with WSQ training and assessment. He is a Director of the Spatec Academy Pte Ltd.


ANTONIO FERNANDES REIS

A graduate of the Spatec Academy and qualified to teach Swedish Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, Professional Conduct and Business Awareness. He is in-charge of training in Holistic Massage and Professional make up. Antonio is a Brazilian who has more than 20 years of working experience in the field of directing and choreography of various dance pieces in the US. He has worked with Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre Foundation and the Fred Astaire Dance Studio & New York Brazil Dancers. During his years in the New York International Ballet Competition, he was involved in training massage, stress and injury management.

 

Ho Sow Fong

Certified through ITEC (UK) in Holistic Massage, Lymphatic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology as well as by NSRS for Swedish Massage and Facial Treatment. With more than 20 years of experience in the Beauty & Aesthetic sales industry products, she is well qualified to train students on specialist Beauty courses.

 

 


Cai Yan, Christina

Conducts training for beauty specialists focusing on professional facial treatments, manicure and pedicure; she is also certified through ITEC (UK) to train in Holistic Massage and Aromatherapy.
